[color=darkred][size=4][b] 东部华侨城（深圳东部华侨城有限公司）于2003年8月注册成立，是华侨城集团在深圳投资兴建的大型综合性生态旅游项目，总投资30亿元，占地面积近9平方公里，位于深圳市东部黄金海岸大梅沙、三洲田片区，主要从事生态旅游、酒店、房地产及餐饮、娱乐项目等配套服务设施的投资建设、开发经营，自2004年开始，连续三年被列为深圳市政府重大建设项目。
东部华侨城位于盐田区北侧丘陵地带，拥有独特的滨海山地旅游资源优势，是深圳特区内最后一块“处女地”。同时，还拥有优越的社会经济优势和独特的区位优势，是距离粤港澳城市带最近的一片山海绿洲,将有望成为粤港澳城市经济带中罕有的山地生态旅游区。
东部华侨城以“让都市人回归自然”为宗旨，定位于建设成为集生态旅游、娱乐休闲、郊野度假、户外运动等多个主题于一体的综合性都市型山地主题休闲度假区。 东部华侨城作为华侨城集团投资建设的第一个大型生态旅游项目，在项目开发和建设中始终坚持发展循环经济,坚持自主创新。在项目产品的规划创意与设计上，自主创新开发建设了一批拥有自主知识产权和独具特色的项目和产品, 其中包括“三镇”即茵特拉根小镇、海菲德小镇和茶翁古镇，“三街”即海菲德天街、茵特拉根花街和艺术大地水街，“三部落”即云中部落、天禅之旅和花钟教堂。建设各类景区景观、景点项目100多项（个），有十多项创造了“中国之最”或“中国第一”。
其中大侠谷瀑布是中国目前落差最大、距离最长的滨海人工瀑布；丛林缆车为世界首创的双坡山地观光缆车；云中风车是中国第一组兼具景观和发电功能的风力发电机组；总长900多米、最大落差40多米的峡湾漂流是亚洲距离最长、最大落差的漂流项目；高度110米的旋转式自然之眼观光塔，是中国沿海高度最高的观光塔；多功能生态剧场则是中国和亚洲设备最先进、功能最完善、景观最具特色的大型多功能剧场，其中总面积近300平方米的LED大屏，被誉为“亚洲第一屏”。 同时，独创性的构建了“茶溪谷”、“云海谷”、“大侠谷”三大独具文化主题特色的功能分区。东部华侨城整个项目由这三个不同文化主题特色的园区组成。其中“大侠谷”体现生态旅游文化，“茶溪谷”体现休闲度假旅游文化，“云海谷”体现户外运动旅游文化。
大侠谷俯瞰深圳东部黄金海岸线，以“森林、阳光、大地、河流、太空”为主题元素，集山地郊野公园和都市主题公园的优点于一体，以人类对自然界广袤未知领域的全方位探索为主线，每个游客都作为“生态探险小组”的成员，加入惊心动魄的探索旅程，他们远离喧嚣的地表，或深入地球的核心，或潜入神秘的海底，或进入茫茫外太空，以寻找可持续的再生能源以拯救地球造福人类。通过这一主题实现大侠谷景区自然景观、生态理念与娱乐体验、科普教育的创新结合。
茶溪谷坐落在三洲田的青山、绿水、茶田、湿地之间，借助于“山水、茶艺、花卉、风情”等资源背景，首次创新融入“茶禅文化”元素，在浪漫、自然、健康、环保的理念引导下让都市人远离喧嚣，从容地享受自然，体现休闲度假旅游文化，真正领悟“茶禅一味”和“天人合一”的真谛。茶溪谷包含茶马古镇、自然体验区、闻香茶岭区、秋山红叶区、寻幽竹溪区和森林探秘区六大主题区域。 [/b][/size][/color]
